Our regular class times are one hour sessions, Monday through Friday. Members log in through our SCHEDULING page, and lock in the time you want. If you’re interested in having a class at a specific time, let us know! Our business model centers around YOU being successful, not selling you a membership you never use. As schedules change for holidays or other occasions, we’ll post that on the main page to let you know.
Part of CrossFit’s methodology is constantly varying the conditions. One reason why this training works is that it eliminates routine in order to expand our performance capabilities at the margins. The difference between a player and a champion is the ability to adapt to adversity; the ability to expand the range of functional capability. The Patriots don’t always play on Sundays, and not always at 1pm Eastern. The most important game of their year happens at an irregular time, under conditions they don’t practice in all year long – the Super Bowl. What does that tell you about the importance of optimizing performance outside a narrow band of conditions?
In performance-critical occupations (Military, LEO, Fire, First Responder), the ability to perform in adverse scenarios can be the difference between life and death. Firefights don’t happen on schedules, and emergencies don’t have rain-outs.
Therefore, on Saturdays, we invite you to participate in what will become a signature tradition of CrossFit Fenway: the Invasion WOD. We’re taking it out of the facility and onto the streets. Regardless of weather, we will be leading as many of you as are bold enough to join us in a no-holds-barred outdoor adventure. The WOD will be constantly varied – New England weather will provide for that, simply enough, and our ingenuity will provide the rest. No attendance limit, open to all Members: just show up and play.
We’re also available for private consultations, one-on-one focus trainings, and general questions throughout the business day Monday through Friday. We’re definitely there for all our class times, and we’re there most of the rest of the day as well. If you want to be sure, just drop us a line and we’ll make sure we’re available for you anytime.
The one time we aren’t in the facility during operating hours is when we are out getting trained, ourselves. CrossFit Fenway is dedicated to maintaining the highest standard of training – and a big part of that is keeping the trainers top notch. We’ve scheduled time to work with olympic lifting coaches, acrobatic instructors, and other CrossFit Affiliates to broaden and deepen our knowledge and coaching skills and ensure that we are at our best. After all, we can’t help you go further unless we are also moving forward.
Weekend Seminars and Certifications
We anticipate using the facility most weekends to provide special training sessions. Some of these will be CrossFit-endorsed Certifications and continuing education credits for CrossFit Certified Trainers, like the CF Endurance Cert or CF Barbell Cert. We also plan to present in-depth training sessions on specific educational topics from nationally renowned experts on a variety of topics related to furthering your fitness and capabilities. Nutrition, gymnastics, flexibility, even circus training – the weekend is when we turn CF Fenway into an 8-hour a day laboratory for in-depth education.
