bellFriday’s another day of testing the skills we’ve been working on for the last month with a max effort snatch.  I know plenty of you can pull, but we want to see you get as low as you can, as fast as you can to move as much weight as possible.  Stand up your new PR and you get to ring the new PR Bell!

    snatch: 185# definitely the most I’ve done in the 5:30. but 5# off a pr… :(
    wod: 5:21… if it wasn’t for the 1rm snatch… that wod is enough to make we want to sleep in. and of course shane & shorty do it with a 30″…
    I’m on vacation for a couple weeks! see you when I get back…

    Snatch: 115# power snatch. My head just wasn’t in the game today. I need to get back to Oly class to relearn that squat snatch.

    Wod: 4:34 rx+ (24″ box).

    Shane, I tried, but Maralene wouldn’t let me do the 30″. Next time!

    Snatch: 140# PR I’ve been chasing this number for so long, so it felt pretty good to hit this. Also, I didn’t ring the bell obnoxiously enough for Maralene the first time, so I had to ring it twice.
    WOD: 4:36 Rx+ @30″
    Shane goaded me into doing the 30″ box. Legs got pretty tired before anything else, but it was fun to race Shane here. Great job 5:30am!

    Snatch: 155#

    WOD: 5:59 Rx – Words I live by: “Discretion is the better part of valor.” (translation – I was almost, but not quite suckered into the 30″ box). Probably will be next time.

    1 RM squat snatch = 85#. Needed to work on form here.

    145# squat snatch. Still plenty to fix but feels better.

    6 even on WOD RX. No discussion of 30′ thank God, though I did try to goad Lilly into 24′ to slow her down.

    Snatch: 145# – This is a 5# PR.
    155# went overhead easily but I couldn’t stabilize it. Feel like I’ll get this soon.

    - gamed it hard, clearly 6″ less the man than you early AM animals
