2 Front Squats from the Floor

We’re coming to the end of a month of Olympic Weightlifting technique warm ups, so it’s time to take those skills for a test drive Thursday (and Friday too!  Hint!).  Instead of doing front squat doubles like usual, you’re going to pull your bar from the floor.  This will limit the amount of weight ultimately squatted, but it’s an interesting twist, and good practice.  Earn your squats with any style of clean (so it could actually be a triple!), just make it pretty.11.14.13_CFF_34

25 Kettlebell Swings (24kg/16kg)
10 Handstand Push-ups

      Way to go Samuel. Sound like some big workouts out there. Just got home from walking the dog in a cold downpour complete with thunder. My advise: stay there for sun!

    squat clean +2FS: 205… wasn’t able to squat 215 a second time….
    wod: 9:49 I think. Rx w kipping hspu…. nice job Chris banging all of those out strict. impressive!

    Clean + 2FS: 105# (a clean PR!)
    WOD: 6:03 using 1 abmat. HSPU’s were immediately hard after the high volume kbs!
