Lift with an Olympian

This Sunday, April 27th CrossFit Fenway is hosting USA Weightlifting and 2012 Olympic Team member Holley Mangold for a weightlifting clinic from 9 AM to 1 PM (no open gym this Sunday).  It’s an incredible, rare opportunity to learn from an athlete of this level.  We’re very excited to have Holley at our facility, and to make this great experience available for our community.  This supplemental snatch and clean & jerk training with an Olympian is $175 for 4 hours.  Space is limited, so please e-mail me to reserve your spot as soon as possible.holley jerk

Did well with double unders and protected my wrists for the most part during the snatches.

150# up from 140# last time. Was hoping for more but shoulder mobility is still an issue. thanks for pointers Sam.

WOD 154 RX mostly because my DUs still blow. One of these days…

    WOD: 495 @ 20kg
I could’ve easily Rx’d the KB Snatches, but, since this is a poor movement for me, I lightened it up a bit to protect my lower back and wrists.
