Adie featured in Zagat’s 30 Under 30

JM_CrossFit_20121020_9200-MOur very own Adie Sprague, of Treat Cupcake Bar fame is featured in Zagat’s 30 Under 30: Boston’s Hottest Up-and-Comers.  It’s great to see Adie (and her cupcakes) recognized for the awesomeness we’ve known for years.  Check it out (there’s a reference to CrossFit, of course), and if you’ve got anything similar you’d like to share with the community, send it over, so we can hopefully help make you slightly more famous.

Help put together a care package from CFF!  On Saturday, December 14th, with Garo’s help, CrossFit Fenway is hosting an invasion WOD to put together care packages for 1SG Russ Watts, 2LT Michael Polanski, and 1LT Russell Cotter. All three are deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. We’d like to send a care package on behalf of CFF to show support and appreciation for their service. If you’re donating to the package, no preregistration is required, and the Saturday session can be an extra one for you that week!

CFF’s 4th Anniversary and Holiday Party!  Join us for adult beverages and good times Saturday, December 14th at Game On! to celebrate 4 years of awesome community and exercise, as well as the holiday season.  We’ve got space reserved in the lower level of the bar from 7 PM on.  See you there!

    CONGRATULATIONS 80!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so exciting :)

    we did EMOM 10 with Front Squat x2
    held 125# across 4 sets then 130# for my last set.

    WOD: 11:10 Rx. unbroken doubles made a big different, and finding a pace for the burpees to keep moving.

      OLY class is never dull! Not my best day ever – but it had some good moments.
      WOD: 10:56 – dbl unders are my arch nemesis. So simple and yet so frustratingly difficult. 2014 goal. boom.

    200# on the FSs but god my technique is bad (as I saw when video taped). Upper back bent over, elbows down.
    Gonna go lighter for a while to get my shit together.
    10:40 on WOD with limited DUs. 60 burpies is a treat, always.
