Thursday’s workout was actually the first in a series of 5 task priority variations of Open workouts that comprised the brutal finale of the East Coast Championships. Maralene “got to” do it after competing all weekend, and advanced on to all but the last piece of the final. If you’ve ever done 11.1 (or maybe done it 3 or 4 times over a 2 week span) the approach for this 4 round, task priority version is somewhat different. In the original AMRAP at least some pacing is necessary to move through the entire 10 minutes and maximize your score. Tomorrow, it’s all out, full speed ahead. See if you can go unbroken on the snatches like Maralene. And you don’t have to compete for 2 days to qualify for it!
