The 2013 Beantown Throwdown is sold out! Well, it’s actually been sold out for a little bit, but hey, I needed a title for this post. We’re finalizing some of the details, and we’ve got a wait list started if you’re interested in possibly competing. We’re also looking for a few more volunteers, so if you’re interested in lending a hand, getting a different perspective on competitive exercise, and want a free t-shirt, please e-mail me.
As of now, we can announce that the event will begin on Sunday, September 29th with athlete registration from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM. There will be an athlete’s meeting at 8:30 AM, and the first heat of the first workout will kickoff at 9 AM. From there we’re looking forward to a smooth, swift competition, wrapping up in plenty of time for everyone to get home, and get comfortable to watch the Patriots on Sunday Night Football.
