Sold Out!

The 2013 Beantown Throwdown is sold out!  Well, it’s actually been sold out for a little bit, but hey, I needed a title for this post.  We’re finalizing some of the details, and we’ve got a wait list started if you’re interested in possibly competing.  We’re also looking for a few more volunteers, so if you’re interested in lending a hand, getting a different perspective on competitive exercise, and want a free t-shirt, please e-mail me.JM_CrossFit_20120812_8300-M

As of now, we can announce that the event will begin on Sunday, September 29th with athlete registration from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM.  There will be an athlete’s meeting at 8:30 AM, and the first heat of the first workout will kickoff at 9 AM.  From there we’re looking forward to a smooth, swift competition, wrapping up in plenty of time for everyone to get home, and get comfortable to watch the Patriots on Sunday Night Football.

    OHS: 145# (17 @ 95#). Had more in me for the big set, but just lost my balance.
    WOD: 4+4 Rx
    Not my best day today. Shoulders felt tired. Great work 5:30am!

    last time I did 4+1, need to get better at wall balls. I’m great at excuses, so I’ll say I felt lightheaded from giving blood. They have an urgent shortage at BWH/DFCI, email blooddonor@partners.org if you’re ever in that area and want to reserve a time.
