Paleo Challenge Wrap Up

You did it! This is the last day of the challenge (Monday, March 4th)! Now before you go and house several pizzas, a cake the size of your head, and a delicious array of Cadbury eggs, send me your info! I need your scores from retesting the workouts and the points from your food journal. If you plugged in those numbers on Dan T.’s chart, that’s great. But if you didn’t, shoot me a quick e-mail with the data.

Once again, the top 3 winners will be decided based off of points (paleo adherence) and improvement in the workouts. Once I have all the info, we can get you some prizes!

If you haven’t paid, had to reschedule the workouts or have any other questions, e-mail me!

Thank you to everyone who participated. I couldn’t be happier with the results I have seen thus far. I said at the beginning if this changes even one of you to live healthier and feel better in the box or out, then it was successful. I can’t wait to crunch the numbers! Scotty Rum’s Karaoke Night Fundraiser… With a Twist!  On March 9th Scott Rumrill is hosting a HUGE karaoke night at Copperfield’s, next to CrossFit Fenway.  Admission is $20, and all proceeds go to Scott’s fundraising effort for the American Liver Foundation.  The twist?  Sure, you can just do some good ol’ fashioned karaoke, or for a $5 donation you can pick a song and the person who sings it!  Immunity from being chosen to sing is available for an additional $10 donation at the door.  There will also be delicious barbecue courtesy of SoulFire.  If you can’t make it, but would still like to donate, Scott’s fundraising page is here.

CFF Spartan Race Team - Cynthia and Caitlin are forming a team for the Spartan Race in Amesbury on August 10th! This will be their first obstacle race, and they welcome the company of other first-timers and obstacle race veterans alike. Register here as part of team “Total Eclipse Of Your Mom” (they’re open to alternative team name suggestions if you don’t love “your mom” jokes and 80′s ballads as much as they do.)     This last time we did this I was super new and it was my first time with Stacey and I was the only one in class. Plus we were in the creepy back room. Talk about a terrifying workout.

    The 6:00 was awesome today!

    I broke the paleo diet Saturday night. Advice to others… take it slow (rather than 3 beers, garlic bread, a plate of fried calamari, and a huge bowl of penne amatriciana). I was in a food coma that lasted all day sunday. It was so painful that I’m eating paleo again.
