Wednesday’s workout haunts me. It looks like short reps, and no big deal, but it’s certainly no treat. A terrifying amount of work for your shoulders that can be tricky to manage. It is intended to be quick though. A small miscalculation leading to a workout in the 12 to 15 minute range is cool. Doing this in 20+ minutes is less cool. Skip the candy, and scale the movements accordingly, but don’t scale back the costumes.

I knew the jerks and burpees would impact my HSPU’s, but that was worth than I thought. In hindsight I should have scaled to at least 1 abmat. Lots of missed reps on the HSPU’s and even a couple on the jerks (which sucks!)
Thanks to the 11:30 and even the 12:30 class for cheering me on during that last set. Sorry I took so long.
Also, a shout out to big Mike for doing this WOD in costume.
Pull up – 10# pretty surprised i managed even that
WOD – 14:23 tried to go Rx but couldn’t even managed 1 hspu in the first round after the jerks (165#) and burpees. this was a bit of a nightmare wod for the arms/shoulders.
Pullups with a new red band 4 to 5 per round

WOD 14:06 @ 25kg and scaled push up/handstand – first time I’ve even got close to getting into a handstand!
Pull-ups: 35lbs
WOD 11:39 @ 45kg (should have gone higher on this in retrospect) and progressive adding of plates under my head. My shoulders hurt.
Pull-ups: One newer red band
WOD: 10:58 w/ 25kg and 2 ab mats. I am still in between scaling on the HSPUs. One ab mat is not enough and 2 is too many. I am so sore I can barely move this morning though.. wow!
I did, however, RX the pink spandex and thong leotard.
