Had a bit of a weight malfunction in the round 2 of C+J’s, but they were just too slow in the first place. Really would have liked to get this one under 28 mins. Great job 6am!
In your honor Sgt Abbate.
WOD: 27:55 @ 40 kg
Good work 6:00!
I love hero WODs. I know I’m scaling a ton, but I still feel proud doing it. In your honor, Sgt Abbate.
29:27 @ 20kg.
I wish I’d tried for 25kg, didn’t realize I’m getting stronger! Second mile time was 30s slower than 1st.
Awesome job 6am!
Abbate would’ve been a dream wod for me if I was still running…

I know I should’ve gone with more weight, but I wanted to see the improvement in a year with pretty much no supplemental running.
GO 6AM!

Love this workout, it was the first hero wod I did after joining fenway. Also great to do a one with some running!
In your honor Sgt. Abbate.

Nice Work 5:30am!
I worked myself up into a frenzy about not being able to do this wod – it was so intimidating! Now, I can’t wait to do it again, but faster. Next time!

I did this one rowing and it was rough, as rowing is not my strong suit. I didn’t finish within the time limit, but I did finish, and for that, I am thrilled. In your honor, Sgt. Abbate.
Thanks everyone for staying and cheering me on. That really helped toward the end when the meters just weren’t ticking off fast enough.

Well done on finishing a tough WOD. 5k is a lot of rowing!
HI.
29:06 @ 75# sprained ankle and all. Fun WOD, fun class, fun racing Sean at the very end!

A lot slower, but 23# heavier. I’m ok with this time.
This one was fun. Thanks 9am for the encouragement at the end of the last 2k row!
35:33 @25kg with rowing
You guys did Abbate, I did 50 burpees for time @_@
I kept thinking “Pesky burpees!” But I didn’t think the CFB folks would find that as funny as the CFF people would :)
Miss y’all!
34:07 @ 30kg
This was a fun one! Lots of weird smells going on though! Great job 5:30!
In your honor, Sergeant Abbate.
October 2011: 32:18 rx
tonight: 31:26 rx. not a huge improvement, but tonight felt *rough* (tight lower back) and I thought I was way off last years pace, so I’ll take it.
Really liked this one!
25:50 @ 28kg. Nice job dodging those crazy Marshall’s shoppers 5pm!
26:27 with 2k, 1k, 2k row instead of run and 25kg
Could probably have gone slightly heavier. Tough one but enjoyable.
27:12 with 25k
WOD: 33:45 @ 60 kg… I was happy to make it in under the time cap.
