Masters of Our CrossFit Universe

One of the great things about the growth of CrossFit is that there are lots of competitions available for athletes of all ages and abilities.  We’ve got competitors taking on their peers at the Master’s Competition at CrossFit New England this Saturday.  You may know them best from regularly putting up top scores on the board here at CrossFit Fenway for you to chase, but Saturday Ron Marchessault and Kevin Kittredge are going to test their fitness against other 40+ northeast athletes.  Terrible He-Man references aside, Kevin and Ron have been training hard to improve their weaknesses, and make their strengths even stronger.  If you’re going to be in central Mass this Saturday, head over to CFNE, check out the competition, and support out competitors.

15 Kettlebell Sumo Deadlift High-pulls (32kg/24kg)
30′ Bear Crawl
10 Box Jumps (24″/20″)

Judges Needed! CrossFit Southie is hosting the Garage Games New England Finals on November 10th and 11th and they need your help! There are 275 competitors throwing down for the weekend and it’s going to be an amazing event. In order to have it run smoothly they need 50+ judges. Even if you’ve never judged before they would love to have you, and they’ll teach you all you need to know.  If you’ve been CrossFitting for 3+ months, you can do the job!     Sigh… it was just one of those mornings where I just didn’t have any energy… and I even took yesterday off.

    FS: 75kg (lighter than normal. need to get elbows up and shoulders back more)

    I really really liked today. Numb mouth and all (thankfully no drool)

    FS: 51kg – That last one was a BITCH but glad I pulled through (yelling may have happened)
    WOD: 9:08 RX – My goal was to get under 10 minutes and I’m super pumped I did it!
