You deserve a dairy queen or cupcakes or chocolates or something really naughty! Congratulations on your run. I especially enjoyed your blog. You should be a comedy writer. Glad to see you are taking on new challenges and accomplishing them...GREAT JOB! Can't wait to see what you do next.

i know this comment is posted late but i wanted to make sure i was able to say everything i wanted to.

erika is a huge inspiration to me as an athlete, coach, and friend. in the last year that i have known her she has become so much stronger physically (after all, she does do crossfit) and mentally. with every "weakness" that she discovers she works tirelessly to try and improve. whether it's rowing practice with mary, cutting out sandwiches, perfecting her kettlebell swing, or 7 minutes of burpees she never gives up. erika doing the trail race did not come as a surprise to me because i see her challenger herself everyday. she motivates me to become the best i can be simply by chasing after her own goals and putting in the hard work. i'm so proud of her for conquering another hurdle and seeing in herself what i see everyday. OK ENOUGH FEELINGS.

GO ERIKA. YOURE THE BEST.

FS: 65kg... probably could have gone a little higher but my legs have been killing after those Curtis P's and then the Goblets yesterday.

WOD: 17:15. Had to use the band on the dips. I will eventually get these. Man those farmer carries were rough. Forearms were crying. (50lb/hand)

FS: 110kg - That was a MAX effort. That last rep took everything I had.
WOD: 16:29 Rx @ 65# DB's = 38% BW
That second set of pull-ups is far different than the first.

Congrats Erika on conquering the trail run. I am no fan of running and my legs burn just thinking of running 18 miles hills or no hills.

FS: 90kg PR - figured out after that I was 2# away from an even 200#s. Thanks Mandy for pointing that out.

WOD 17:46 - Blue banded ring dips for both rounds, and blue banded for the second set of pull-ups. The 200m farmers carry was a grip killer.

Great post Erica. I appreciate your honesty in what you wrote. I often forget that everyone sometimes struggles with a workout, both mentally and physically. I guess I just look at you like a super hero, so never think you struggle as we mere mortals do!

My body is wrecked from the workouts this week and the delayed soreness from Curtis P. He is definitely no friend of mine!
FS - 40kg - Focused on form since I seem to be leaning forward

WOD - 18:32 - I didn't scale enough and struggled with everything. Although, I chatted up the construction guys at Marshall's and they offered my a job. I guess the Farmer's Carry is part of their application process. This workout sucked ass!

Snyder you rock...some day I hope my arms are as big as yours! Congratulations to all four of you, that is a great accomplishment!

FS - 120kg (had more in the tank)
WOD - 14:41 with 70lbs and subbed handstand push ups for the ring dips due to a nagging injury I am dealing with

Nice work 5:30
