Max Snatch: 115#. Note: These do not get better if you don’t work on them.

Felt like I could have done much better on this one. Too many unnecessary breaks. Great job by everyone in the 6am!

max snatch: 35 kg. i hit this one almost without fail by muscling it up. i can probably get more weight over head, but i want to work on my form at this weight before moving up

randy: oy. 11:41 at 25kg. I started off with 10 then switched to 5. Hindsight, i should’ve stuck with 10 at least for another set and i should’ve watched the clock between sets. i spent way too much time not snatching.

If anyone finds a ziplock bag with two rolls of tape in it sitting in the middle of the pullup structure, could you leave it in the coaches’ office? Thanks!

Max Snatch – 80kg – was practicing catching these at the bottom of the squat. this is a fun movement that I would like to practice more.

In your honor Randy, RIP – 5:25 Rx

    Nice work 5:30

    Max snatch: 30kg
    WOD: 8:18 @ 20kg

This was a sweaty one and after trying to use chalk for the warm up, it just turned to paste. Definitely need to work on form to get under the bar.

Snatch – 80kg. ugly. ugly ugly ugly. if I had even an ounce of technique I could apply to snatching, this would be a much higher number. major mental block when trying to get under the weight.

Randy – 5:24Rx my shoulders are gonna hate me tomorrow. they already do today…

Did you even stop to breathe?!

  11. Cynthia on August 3, 2012 at 8:25 pm

Snatch – 35k (which I don’t get, because thesis only 2 kilos heavier than my 5×3)

    WOD – 9:21 @ 25k

    • Cynthia on August 3, 2012 at 8:26 pm

Er, “this is.” Damn you, autocorrect.

max snatch: 155 # – form was bad. bad as in bad – not bad as in good.
WOD: 6:29 RX – not pleased, but I will take it given this was 1st wod back after fighting the summer flu for 5 days.

    RIP Officer Simmons
