Here’s a full days notice that Stacey will be back coaching at CrossFit Fenway this Thursday. If you like warm-ups occasionally more brutal than the WOD, possibly including dancing and country music, then the 6 AM or 7 AM class on Thursday will be just what you’re looking for. Help her feel right back at home, as she coaches her first class at our new facility.

PP: 64kg
WOD: 6:29 Rx. The row made the rope climbs much worse than usual. Struggled up the rope on those last those last few.
*those last few*. Obviously I’m still WOD drunk.
PP: 40kg, failed at 45 kg twice on my 5th rep. i was having a grand old time with the rainbow bar path today, too. always something to work on!
wod: 9:03 Rx. I haven’t done too many wods with rope climbs in them, and they felt less awful than i thought. Sweet, sweet rope burn on my groin, though.
CFF dream last night! In lieu of a warm up, Erika gave everyone in the class a large apple danish and asked us to write our t-shirt slogan ideas on the back (?). Mine was, “I have a fever, and the only RX is more kettlebell.” It almost makes sense?
ROPE CLIMBS.
I would buy that shirt! And I would also like a large apple danish!
Ditto.
PP: 47 kg, 3 at 50 kg, but I dropped it and it wasn’t going back up again!
WOD: 15:26 RX!
Great job 7 a.m.!!
PP: 65kg – 70kg went up 3 times, but 5 wasn’t gonna happen. Need to focus on staying on my heels during the dip.
WOD: 13:06 Rx. Man, I need a lot of recovery time between rope climbs!
PP: 65kg
WOD: 10:28 Rx+ (trying to get used to moving with a weight vest, so i wore one today during the WOD–didn’t think i was going to make it up the rope on the last two climbs)
PP: 50kg (learned to do a little jump, which made 50kg much easier to lift)
WOD: 10:58 RX (first WOD completed with rope climbs instead of scaling; wore sweatpants, which was hot, and the rope burn on my ankle still kills)
PP: 70kg, 75×4, 77×2
WOD: 7:53 Rx
