Summer is almost here! And with it, a lot of competitions and events for athletes of every level. This Saturday, June 23rd, our friends at CrossFit Route 1 are hosting the EveryDay Heroes 1st Annual Fitness Challenge, a team competition to benefit the EveryDay Heroes Emergency Fund. Kendra Cecieta, a coach at, and competitor for CrossFit Route 1 helped found EveryDay Heroes in her father’s honor. EveryDay Heroes is a non-profit organization honoring those who serve their communities as firefighters, law enforcement officers, emergency medical technicians, and military personnel.
You can check out the workouts here, and register to compete here. The aforementioned first responders are invited to compete free of charge. There are both scaled and RX divisions, which gives you guys a great chance to put your skills to the test in an atmosphere with a bit more pressure. Plus, it’s for a good cause! Find a teammate and get competing in the sunny weather!
