KP and Claire’s Award Winning Weekend

June 11, 2012
By

Our athletes competing in CrossFit weren’t the only ones winning this past weekend.  CrossFit Fenway’s own Kristin “KP” Pineo and Claire Savage participated in the 33rd Boston Dragon Boat Festival as members of Team Liaison.  After four tough races, including one in which the team came from behind to beat two more experienced, well practiced, club teams, Liaison walked away with a silver medal in the Corporate Division and a bronze in the time-based “B” Division.  The Roslindale roomies credit CrossFit for their ability to “pull more water” in the final 100+ meter stretches of the races.  Congratulations KP and Claire!
