Wacky Weather, Please Wipe Your Feet

The weather’s been pretty crazy this winter, especially recently.  Frigid cold,  some snow, unseasonable warmth, and it looks like there’s more snow on the way.  This has lead to some intense salting of the paved areas surrounding CrossFit Fenway, and quick melting, making for a potentially messy situation around the entrance to our current home.

Let this blog post serve as the annual reminder to please thoroughly wipe your feet, or, even better, take off your outdoor footwear when entering the facility.  This will help us keep the salt, slush, and other outside slop to a minimum.  We’ll continue to do our best to clean up whatever gets tracked in, but please do your part, because no one wants to do burpees into a face full of salt.

    Finally did DT with 10 minute cap for the paleo challenge: 4 + 17 RX (almost!)

    I had a dream last night that i accidentally ate pizza.

    WOD — 9:16Rx, I was just trying to keep up with Matt (like in the photo). Situps added a nice little element of core fatigue into the second round.

    The Open starts in 4 weeks…wow.

    First time in a long time that my lower back did not tighten up during deadlifts in a WOD. Very happy about that. Sit-ups still too slow.

    I felt completely exhausted this morning. Just couldn’t shake it – both during the push press or the WOD. Spent a lot of time looking at the deadlift bar and the rings.

    Gonna get a lot of sleep tonight.

      WOD: 7:40rx feeling pretty fast through my WODs with the strict Paleo, however definitely not feeling as strong

    WOD: 7:42rx…feeling super fast through all of my WODs these past few weeks after going strict paleo, especially the ones that are a little more metabolic conditioning, however I definitely don’t feel as strong
