CrossFit Fenway Endurance Team

Running is way more fun when you can share your PR’s, and a post race beer with friends.  I know we have more than a few crazies here in our CrossFit Fenway community (myself included) who enjoy challenging themselves beyond the time domains of a typical CrossFit workout, with some distance running.  It’s time to get organized for the warmer weather, and bring everyone together to form the CrossFit Fenway Endurance Team!  I’m very excited about our first meeting, this Saturday, January 28th at 1:30 PM, at CrossFit Fenway.  All abilities are welcome and encouraged to participate.  Please join us Saturday if you’re interested in running with CFF, or e-mail Eric if you can’t make it and for more information.

    Eric, I’ve known you for over a year and a half and have never heard of you drinking beer…very psyched for CFF E-Team though. My favorite post-race replenishment is crabcakes.

    Snatch DL — 60kg, 1st time=PR!

    WOD — 10:34 @ 25kg, woof. Strong 0530 crew!

    Snatch DL: 90kg

    WOD – 10:55 @86#. Had 15# plates to start, then right before 3,2,1 go added 2.5kg plates, hence the weird number. Nice little race with Chris on this one. Also, almost lost my footing on one or two of the snatches due to working out by the door. WELCOME BACK CLAIRE!!!

      zander–i like the travel wod’s you post (keep it up please!). i keep a running list of them for my trips to the YMCA down the block…

    WOD: 7:35 @ 35# and purple & red bands. I wasn’t sure how heavy to go; wish I had gone a little heavier.

    WOD: 11:45 @ 40kg (hang power snatches felt heavy warming up for the workout so I didn’t do RX, but my time was decent so I’m thinking I should have added the 5kg…)

    Between the snatch deadliest, the hang power snatches, and the pull-ups, my forearms are shot!

    WOD: 13:29 RX – this was a tough one for me given the dead hang pull-ups, but was pleased about the RX.
