Taking it Outside

Hopefully the relatively cool weather we’ve experienced over the last couple of days continues, because on Thursday we’re taking it outside.  The entire mile worth of running, 60 wall ball shots, and 120 double unders can all be performed outdoors.  You can all decide for your selves if it’s actually more comfortable out there.

Skill: Dot Drill

Strength: Overhead Squat 5-5-5-5-5

WOD: Complete 3 Rounds for Time of:
Run 1 Lap Around the Block (550m)
20 Wall Ball Shots (20#/14#)
40 Double Unders

Announcements

Fight Gone Bad has raised more than $2 million in its first four editions.  This year LIVESTRONG, Wounded Warrior Project, and the CrossFit Foundation are benefiting from the fundraising efforts.  On Saturday, September 25th we’ll be running our heats.  Justin Shaughnessy has raised $2,200 to date, ranking him third among all fundraisers!     Nothing special on the OHS, but given that it was my first time I’m pleased to have confronted the beast.

    WOD — 17:16 w/singles and 10# WB. The running was my saving grace. DUs and WBs are my new goats. Great job 6:30 crew.

    For the comedic portion of the morning, I walked across the CFF parking lot in sweaty shorts and a towel because I realized while I was in the shower that I left my work clothes in the car.
