Elizabeth is one of a trio of workouts that uses the ever popular 21-15-9 rep scheme applied to a barbell and a body weight movement.  This combination of an Olympic lift and a gymnastic movement would obviously benefit from some practice in each, and we’ve had some recently.  Even though the movements require some skill, much like Fran and Diane, Elizabeth is meant to be fast.  Scale appropriately.  Friday is your chance to get a score on this great benchmark girl.

Please e-mail Eric if you’re registered to run in the BAA Half Marathon, and/or you’re interested in joining the CrossFit Fenway team for the Spartan Race, so we can get organized for these two upcoming events.

WOD: 11:20 (50kg/110lbs) – I really enjoyed this WOD – I think I am starting to improve my form on the clean – but I definitely need to keep practicing so that I can do this one Rx!

OK. So my form for the squat clean was a mess, apparently. But on the plus side, my squat is getting just a little bit lower. Those hamstrings might just be “getting it”. This one was kindof fun, actually.

    WOD: 12:13 (30kg/red+purple bands)
